It's been a challenge

Well, it will soon be 2 months that I have been a mother to 3 small children. And it has truly been a challenge. Especially while my hubby works overnight and then he needs some type of rest during the day. I wouldn't trade it for a $100K salary but I would love to have a day off, lol. My eldest son has been a great help to me with both his younger sister and brother. But so many times I have to remind myself that he is only 3 1/2 years young and can only comprehend and help but so much. My daughter who is 15 months, has gone through a rough time in adjusting to having another baby in the house. She is now off of the pacifier and tends to throw fits when she doesn't get her way. She has even gotten into the habit of hitting all of us. So you know correction must be made when she does that. Other than that, she is well and I truly remind her how special she is to us. I call her our little princess. :-) And now my youngest, who is now 6 weeks young has got me up ALOT!!!!!!!! He eats every 2-3 hours so you know I don't get too much rest. He is gaining weight rapidly but he tends to throw up alot. He is very colicy...did I spell that right???? Oh well..... So I have to feed him slowly, burp him 2-3 times as much, and give him gripe water as well as massage him down to move the gas bubbles and help him poop. It has truly been a blessing but LOTS of work. I love being a mom, even if I never have a day off. I love all 5 of my kids (my 3 here and my other 2 in heaven).
